Description
Sounds do not travel far in the frozen wastes. A footstep remains hushed when sneaking toward a playmate. A call dies out before it reaches the leader of a hunting party. A scream is silenced before it warns the cluster of huts. The stories of the tribe’s history fall silent, too. No legends of heroes, no tales of Before, no creation, no gods.
After two generations of lies and three generations of silence, the questions are being asked again. Where did we come from? Why are we here? Are there other tribes like us?
